Discussion of the use of Social media in Prime's Marketing Campaign, Business Partnerships and Public Relations

Overall advertising

Prime Hydration is a popular brand that offers hydration supplements to its customers. The company uses various methods to advertise its products and attract more customers. One of the most common ways Prime Hydration is advertised is through social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter. The company posts pictures and videos of their products on these platforms along with informative captions that explain the benefits of their hydration supplements.

Through these platforms, Prime Hydration also partners with athletes and fitness enthusiasts who promote their products on their social media accounts or through sponsored events almost acting as a pyramid scheme for advertisement. This strategy helps the brand reach a wider audience and build / increase their credibility in the fitness community. An example of this would be the UFC website[1] and their sponsorship deal with ARSERNAL FC[2].

[3]The company also uses email marketing campaigns to stay in touch with its customers and offer exclusive deals on their products. They also have a website where customers can learn more about their products, read reviews, and make purchases. An example of this would be if you provide your email address on the Prime Hydration website they will notify you once Prime is back in stock or if there are any deals.

Branding of Product (Bottle)

Prime Hydration is a popular brand that specializes in providing high-quality hydration products to its customers. The brand has been able to establish itself as a leading player in the industry by carefully crafting its branding strategy. Prime Hydration's branding is centred around the concept of delivering superior quality hydration products that are designed to meet the unique needs of athletes and fitness enthusiasts.

Primes brand design and choice of colours and flavours may seem unique in the market, however, after a little bit of research I stumbled across Max Clemons other business partners product (3D energy) and saw that all flavours and colours were just copied from 3D energy’s line of products. But in Max’s case he has co-ownership over both brands and can do as he pleases. It is more than likely that 3D energy has already lost revenue due to this as Prime Hydration recently launched a can version of their product.

One of the key elements of Prime Hydration's branding strategy is its focus on using high-quality ingredients and advanced manufacturing techniques. The brand takes pride in sourcing only the best materials / ingredients for its products[4], which helps it deliver consistent quality and results. Another important aspect of Prime Hydration's branding is its commitment to customer satisfaction. The company places a strong emphasis on building relationships with its customers, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring that all products are backed by a satisfaction guarantee. We can see that seems to be working as it is almost impossible to buy Prime at your local supermarket and with the product having such positive feedback[5]. Overall, Prime Hydration's branding strategy reflects its commitment to excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction.

Comparison of main competitor vs Prime

Prime uses very bold and clear branding, with the name on the front of every bottle, with flavours colour coded and limited editions.  It is eye catching in its simplicity and the uncluttered lable stands out form competitor brands.[6] By comparison Gatorade, have branded each of their bottles with vibrant colours and their logo. Gatorades branding, while in many ways informative to the buyer, uses a greater amount of small print and no particular element of the lable stands out to potential customers.  Prime purposefully designed thier lable to be bold and simple to make it eye catching from a distance (this is what we call a unique selling position).
